Choosing Auglish grey slate

Slate creates a different surface texture from rounded pebbles or granite chippings. Check that the listed 40mm grade suits the planned feature and compare its grey tone with the surrounding paving. Natural shape, thickness and colour variation are part of the appearance of this landscaping material.

How much stone do I need?

Measure the length and width of the area and decide on the finished depth before estimating bags. Coverage varies with the material, depth and preparation, so contact us with those measurements if you need help planning the quantity. Natural stone can vary in colour, and photographs taken wet may look different from dry stone.
