Delivery Terms & Conditions

All website orders will be delivered within 7 working days of order. We carry out all Northern Ireland deliveries through the following means: –

  • Single Pallet items that include bulk bags of aggregate etc – These items are delivered by road haulage & set off using a pallet truck & tail lift at the most accessible location to the driver. Please ensure that there are no instructions for the delivery. This can include sharp inclines/declines, gravel/unsteady surface & kerbs. In the scenario where obstructions cannot be navigated the delivery driver will set off at the most accessible spot he can.

  • Larger sized items such as New & Reclaimed Sleepers & Timbers – These items will be delivered by 8-wheel Hiab lorry & you must ensure there is adequate access for the delivery. This includes no overhead cables (Hiab) & sufficient access to allow the lorry to manoeuvre.

Upon ordering you do so in the knowledge that the goods you have purchased can be delivered safely to the area you require them. Please consider the access of a large lorry/vehicle to your property & any potential hazards there may be. As stated, this can include overhead cables. Narrow pillars & sharp inclines & declines.

If we arrive at your delivery destination and are unable to unload/deliver for any of the said reasons. All goods will be returned to our depot when new delivery/collection options will be explored. This will incur additional delivery charges.

If you have any questions with regards to your delivery, please contact us directly by phone on +44 28 867 62103 where we will do our upmost to offer the best possible delivery option for you.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

You can cancel an order prior to the loading of your order onto our delivery vehicle and obtain a full refund of any pre-payment. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Reclaimed Railway Sleepers

All of our Reclaimed Railway Sleepers have been treated with creosote before 30th June 2003 and are suitable for placement on the second hand/reclaimed market for re-use. (Meeting Council Regulation EC 1013/2006)

For Agricultural Use

Our railway sleeper is a used sleeper in good condition. It will have bolt holes where the tracks were attached to it and a small amount of damage or slight wane is acceptable. It is very sound, little or no rot and can be used for stacking, building retaining walls and many other uses.

**As a reclaimed they will always carry signs of wear/wane/bends. This is the characteristics of a reclaimed product

New Railway Sleepers

As for the above but with the following additions:

Landscape Grade A – possibility of  splits at either end and possibly one waned edge.

Reclaimed Creosote Free Railway Sleepers

Grade A – Very sound, a minimal amount of loosening of the grain is allowable and minor splits.

Grade B – possibility of split ends and some damage to the sleeper, the grain will appear very loose around the edges and especially the ends, this is completely normal with tropical hardwood but the sleeper will be essentially sound although very rustic looking – please take this into account before ordering.
